This Spring we will be offering 6-person beginner classes. No experienced required! Our 2-day beginner group classes cover the following:

1. Wind Clock

2. Rigging

3. Sailing in a straight line

4. Sailing upwind/downwind

5. Turning (two kinds of tacks)

6. Gybing

With two experienced instructors per class, video analysis, photo shoots, and all windsurf equipment provided, by the end of the weekend you will feel confident on how to sail a windsurf board and have an arsenal of skills to further practice! For future practice after taking a class, with approval by the instructor, you will also be able to rent gear at low rates from AWS.

Note: AWS does not provide wetsuits, they can be rented from Dive World or Scubaland Adventures in Austin for $20/day, if so desired. (March highs in 70 degrees, with 63 degree average temperature water)
